Tony LaPlante
Welltonic are pleased to announce that they have assigned Tony LaPlante to the newly created post of Engineering Manager, based at our Aberdeen facility but
supporting the group globally. Tony takes with him to Welltonic a wealth of knowledge and experience in the design and manufacture of innovative thru-tubing
tools and downhole products. This will further enhance our capabilities in being able to offer new solutions to our clients needs and will result in Welltonic
developing a more substantial range of products.

Middle East IADC Golf Tournament
Welltonic Senior Management team and a number of their ME customers recently participated in the 2006 Middle East IADC Golf Tournament and the fantastic Gala
evening after the two days golf. The event was exceptionally well attended by the Oil and Service Companies from all over the region and indeed many traveled
from outside the area also.
The format was a two day team scramble medal played over 36 holes 18 each on the Emirates Wadi and Majlis courses. Two hundred and fifty six golfers in 64 foursomes took
part and the event was a resounding success. We were delighted to receive prizes for third place in our particular tier which ended a great weekend for the team.
We wish to express our thanks to the IADC Southern Arabian Peninsula Chapter, the organizers, the staff; all players involved and our customers who made the weekend so
enjoyable and memorable.
